Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Tarangire National Park

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide. After a short briefing, depart toward Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds.

Enjoy your first game drive en route to the camp, spotting giraffes, zebras, and elephants across the savannah.
Arrive at Tarangire Baobab Tented Camp in the late afternoon and relax as the sun sets over the wilderness.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Ngorongoro Highlands

After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in Tarangire with a picnic lunch. The park offers diverse landscapes, seasonal rivers, and excellent wildlife viewing, including lions and leopards.

In the afternoon, depart for the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, passing coffee plantations and rolling green hills.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Africa. Spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, and the rare black rhinoceros.

After a picnic lunch at the crater floor, continue to Serengeti National Park, entering through Naabi Hill Gate, where the landscape opens into endless plains.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Full Day Game Drives

Spend a full day exploring Central Serengeti, one of the world’s most iconic safari destinations. Witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras, lions resting under acacia trees, cheetahs on the plains, and hyenas on the hunt.

Return to camp in the afternoon to relax.
In the evening, attend a briefing with the Balloon Safari team in preparation for the next morning’s flight.

Day 5: Hot Air Balloon Safari – Serengeti

Before sunrise, transfer to the balloon launch site. As the balloon rises gently into the sky, enjoy breathtaking views of the Serengeti at dawn, with wildlife moving freely below.

After landing, celebrate with a champagne bush breakfast in the heart of the savannah.
Later, enjoy a short game drive before departing Serengeti and returning to the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 6: Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour – Departure

After lunch, transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
